Saturday October 17th – Ten Mile Bank

First time I have been here since the summer.

Got there at the crack of dawn. It started off slow, then after a move. The fishing was fantastic. Plenty of perch and roach between us and to top it off, a nice brace of double figure pike for me, just to finish the day off. Roach and perch were caught on leger methods and tip. Baits used were maggot and worm. Pike on float fished live baits. Hopefully will not be long before I have another day down here.

At first I thought I had caught the same fish twice, but on closer inspection the anal fin on the top photo is longer and more pointed than the one above. Very happy angler as not had a double, let alone two from this water for a while now. Nice to know they are still here!

Happy Days!
