Had an evening trip after work, to go after the zeds, as they have been showing down here.
It was a lovely night but very cold. Had there rods, but nothing showed itself until quite late into the session. The right hand rod, twitched and the drop back dropped off and the buzzer screamed.
After a nice little scrap, a pristine jack pike of around 9ib graced the net. No zeds on this occasion, and probably not until the new season, as this was my last session on this drain. Still love this drain, and looking forward to getting back on it.
