Saturday February 14th – Ten Mile Bank/Land Drain

Hadn’t had a pike session on TMB, for a year or so, so gave it a go.

Wasn’t feeling that positive as heard reports of seals being spotted up and down this stretch. I had two runs, but missed them both. Very finicky and one of which I missed, due to a boat nearly crossing my lines. It then went quite. The river was also pushing through at a fair rate too. I then packed up, and moved to one of my favourite land drains.

Had two fish after a wandering session, biggest of which was 10ib. Not huge, but better than blanking!

Both fish caught on Sardines, using a pencil waggler setup.

The two horrors……

Great day out, but looking forward to my next trip this coming weekend.
